Harmonisation partnership between Farm Carbon Calculator, Cool Farm Tool and Agrecalc

As part of SAI Platform’s “Crops Carbon Toolbox” 2026 activity series, we are running several knowledge share/peer learning webinars related to GHG topics. One of the topics that our members have expressed interest in is the harmonization partnership between Farm Carbon Calculator, Cool Farm Tool and Agrecalc. 

Three leading farm carbon calculators (Farm Carbon Calculator, Cool Farm Tool, and Agrecalc) have agreed to harmonise their different methodologies for monitoring greenhouse gas emissions on farm. Intention is to agree on a common set of data sources which all three calculators will use. The partnership will help align methodologies where that makes sense, and make it possible for users to fully understand why different calculators produce different answers.
