SAI Platform Annual Event 2020 (postponed)

Following the outbreak of the pandemic coronavirus disease (COVID-19) and after careful consideration and monitoring of the situation, SAI Platform has decided to postpone our Annual Event to the week of the 7^th June 2021 in Parma, Italy.

Although we regret that our flagship event will not take place this year, we believe that the safety and wellbeing of our staff, our members, speakers and the general public during this pandemic period is our number one priority. It is therefore our responsibility to apply the latest developments concerning the worldwide spread of COVID-19, including the World Health Organization’s (WHO) recommendations.  

While the level of disruption presented by the COVID-19 remains to be seen, it only reinforces and highlights the need to work collaboratively, systemically, and adaptably to address the urgent challenges our world faces today.

We would like to thank all the members, speakers, sponsors and other stakeholders for all the time, energy and support they have put into helping us shape our programme to ensure the success of our Annual Event.

• The General Assembly 2020 will still take place remotely on the afternoon (CET) of 10^th June 2020. Further details will be available shortly.
• Our webinar series will be extended to provide more content on sustainable agriculture through a range of informal 45-minute updates throughout the year.
