SAI Platform’s Regenerating Together: Purpose, Outputs and Priorities moving forward 

All members are exclusively invited to SAI Platform’s Regenerating Together webinar highlighting the purpose and vision, outputs to date, and discussing priorities moving forward.

Our Regenerating Together programme has the aim to bring about long-term, systemic change that will have a positive impact on the environment. We share a common long-term goal: to create a food system embedded in regenerative practices that will revitalise natural ecosystems and improve the quality of farmers’ livelihoods. 

In 2021, 33 founding members mandated SAI Platform to develop a programme for an aligned definition and understanding of regenerative agriculture, including a framework with outcomes and metrics. Through this, we aim to reduce the multiplication of standards and schemes, limit the additional work for supply chains with multiple assessments, and minimise the confusion at the farmer level and amongst procurement teams related to outcome reporting and data collection.  

Having now established the foundation of the programme, starting in 2024 we are opening the programme to the entire SAI Platform membership to enhance collaboration and catalyse a greater transition towards regenerative agriculture. With this in mind, we would like to present you with an overview of deliverables to date and our shared vision moving forward.
