Bastian Mengel

Bastian, part of the Regenerating Together team at SAI Platform, is involved in the development and further evolvement of the Regenerating Together Framework and supports SAI Platform members in its implementation.  

Before joining SAI Platform, Bastian worked at the nexus of agricultural development and international cooperation, focusing on economic/cost-benefit analysis, sustainability assessments and project evaluations, mostly in the context of smallholder production systems in different African and Asian countries.  

Bastian holds an MSc in Environment and Sustainability from Birkbeck, University of London, an MSc in Agricultural and Forest Sciences from the Bern University of Applied Sciences and a bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Viticulture and Oenology from Heilbronn University.
