Kate Murray
Business Development Manager
Kate Murray is the Business Development Manager for SAI Platform, where she leads global membership growth and engagement across the organisation’s vibrant and expanding network. She brings extensive, cross‑sector experience from across the food and drink value chain, including retail, manufacturing, government agency work and front‑line operations. Kate is driven by supporting organisations at every stage of their sustainability journey and helping members create meaningful, system‑level impact.
Most recently, Kate served as a Bord Bia Origin Green Ambassador, representing Ireland Inc. and acting as the strategic link between Irish food and drink exporters and key international customers. During this programme, she completed an MSc in Business Sustainability while working on the ground across Europe. She was based in Switzerland at Nestlé HQ with the Sustainable Agriculture team, the UK with Ocado Retail’s ESG team and later in Ireland with Dawn Farms’ Business Development team. Across these roles, she led and delivered a range of impactful sustainability strategies and projects. She also holds a MSc in Food Business & Innovation.
