Vincenzo is Industry Solutions Lead at SAI Platform, harmonizing operational pillars and implementing governance frameworks in line to the SAI Platform’s strategic goals.
With over 16 years of international experience in the Agro-food and Quality sectors, his career spans both in and outside Europe Throughout his professional journey, he has collaborated with various Agricultural Institutes and Regulatory Authorities to drive the development of optimized and sustainable farming practices.
He established a strong foundation in the crop protection industry, in defining the strategies for Plant Protection Product registrations in the EU and Australia. More recently, he held a crucial role, within the Food Industry at Nestlé in bridging the gap between Procurement, Quality and Regenerative Agriculture. The role aimed to implement robust supply chain strategies focused on regenerative farm practices to source compliant raw materials for baby food production.
Having his carrier extended from field-level practices to corporate food safety compliance, he believes that adopting resilient farming systems is critical to mitigate climate change and securing a safe food supply for future generations.
