“We are thrilled to become SAI Platform members and align our work with the new RTP. Through our membership we will continue to meet customer requests while simultaneously driving value for our producers and building resilient systems.”

Sophia Weiss, Director of Sustainability and Regenerative Agriculture

We are pleased to welcome Grain Millers, a leading North American processor of organic and conventional whole grains. Family‑owned since 1986, the company is a major supplier of oat, barley, wheat, corn, flax and rye ingredients to global food manufacturers, recognised for being one of the largest organic oat millers in the world.

With operations across the United States and Canada, Grain Millers maintains long‑standing, direct sourcing relationships with farmers and plays an influential role in grain supply chains. Their product portfolio spans milled grains, flakes, fibres, functional flours, and feed ingredients, supported by a strong commitment to transparency and responsible sourcing.

Sustainability is central to Grain Millers’ strategy. The company publishes an annual Sustainability Report, has completed Scope 1, 2, and 3 GHG accounting, and focuses on soil health, regenerative agriculture, biodiversity, climate resilience and farmer livelihoods. Their Partnerships for Resilient Agriculture (PFRA) programme supports growers in adopting regenerative practices that improve soil health and long‑term resilience.

By joining SAI Platform, Grain Millers aims to align its work with the Farm Sustainability Assessment (FSA) and the Regenerating Together Programme (RTP). As an active participant in the Crops Working Group, the company will contribute practical insights from its extensive oat and small‑grain networks while benefiting from harmonised metrics, benchmarking and shared transition guidance.
