We welcome Ground Up as a SAI Platform affiliate member

23rd October 2026

“At Ground Up, we believe regenerative agriculture is about more than changing farming practices. It’s about transforming the entire food system. This takes solid science, committed farmers and getting the right people around the same table, which can sometimes be quite an adventure. We’re delighted to join SAI Platform and bring our hands-on experience from Polish farms to a community that shares our ambition to turn sustainability goals into measurable results. After all, real change doesn’t happen in meeting rooms alone, it happens in the fields, together.”

Anna Danylczenko, President

We are pleased to welcome Ground Up as a member of SAI Platform. Based in Poland, Ground Up is a non-profit organisation focused on scaling regenerative agriculture and supporting soil regeneration. The organisation works directly with farmers to support the transition to regenerative practices through agronomic advisory, farm transition planning, soil assessment, carbon farming, eco-scheme guidance and professional education.

Beyond farm-level support, Ground Up works with major food processing companies to help transform agricultural supply chains. Its services include regenerative agriculture advisory, education, ESG strategy implementation, and data processing and calculations to support the transition towards more sustainable production systems.

With an active database of more than 60,000 farmers and a multidisciplinary team spanning agronomy, ecohydrology, economics, finance, biodiversity and ESG, Ground Up brings extensive local expertise and strong connections with academic, public and business partners. This combination of practical knowledge and established networks positions the organisation to support the adoption of regenerative practices at scale while addressing the economic and environmental realities faced by farmers.

By joining SAI Platform, Ground Up aims to bring practical, farm-level implementation experience from Poland to the global network, while aligning its advisory methodologies, Transition Plans and monitoring approaches with internationally recognised regenerative agriculture principles. Through collaboration with members across the value chain, Ground Up hopes to strengthen consistent measurement of soil health, biodiversity, climate and farm resilience, and help accelerate scalable, economically viable regenerative agriculture across Central and Eastern Europe.
