We are pleased to welcome Société Coopérative Agricole de la Meuse (SCAM) as a member of SAI Platform. Founded in 1956 and headquartered in Wallonia, Belgium, SCAM is a farmer-owned cooperative that supports thousands of farms through the organisation of agricultural production, input supply and crop collection, as well as access to markets.

Operating at the heart of primary agriculture, SCAM’s core activities include the collection and marketing of cereals, oilseeds and protein crops, alongside the provision of seeds, fertilisers, crop protection products and animal feed. The cooperative also plays a key role in delivering agronomic advisory services, innovation programmes and farmer training, with a strong emphasis on soil health, conservation agriculture and input optimisation.

SCAM’s sustainability approach is practice-based and closely tied to on-farm transition. Through initiatives such as its advisory network, trial fields and the Club SCAM ACS platform, the cooperative supports farmers in adopting conservation agriculture, improving crop rotation and reducing environmental impact. Its direct relationship with farmers enables strong traceability, continuous improvement and the dissemination of practical, field-tested solutions.

By joining SAI Platform, SCAM brings valuable expertise in farmer engagement and implementation at scale. Its cooperative model and hands-on approach to agronomic transition align closely with SAI Platform’s mission to drive sustainable and regenerative agriculture at farm level.
