FSA now available in seven additional languages

26th July 2021

SAI Platform has announced the translation of the Farm Sustainability Assessment (FSA) into six additional languages: Czech, German, Hungarian, Italian, Polish, Romanian and Slovak. The introduction of these latest translations will help make the FSA more regionally accessible and make it easier for users to implement accurately.

As the SAI Platform membership continues to grow the FSA is rapidly expanding across new regions which requires greater accessibility for farmers and Farm Management Groups to operate in their own languages. The FSA is already available in English, French, Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese. The addition of the new language translations has been the result of support and investment by SAI Platform and member Agrana.

Work is also currently underway with the support of IDH, The Sustainable Trade Initiative, to extend regional language accessibility of the FSA in Chinese, Hindi and Marathi. All language translations cover the Self-Assessment Questionnaire, while specifically for Chinese the FSA Implementation Framework and the Continuous Improvement Module will also be translated.

Special thanks go to Agrana and IDH, The Sustainable Trade Initiative for their continued support in developing and expanding the reach of the FSA.
