The challenge
The UK is a key sourcing region for many of our members. The landscape approach offers many benefits when addressing water and soil management challenges. The Rivers Trust is leading the way in a catchment-based approach for water projects in the UK. SAI Platform and our members are linking agricultural supply chains and creating a direct link with growers in the area.
Objectives
- Improve soil, nutrient and water management practices on farm.
- Encourage the uptake of a landscape level approach for cross-sectoral challenges.
