The challenge
The range of wild harvested ingredients is vast, from berries to rosehips, rosemary to nuts and mushrooms. Wild harvested ingredients have sustainability and engagement challenges that differ from conventional farming.
A reference has now been developed by SAI Platform but is yet to be tested across a wide variety of supply chains.
Objectives
- Test the reference in our members’ supply chains, refine it and align it with the Farm Sustainability Assessment (FSA).
