SAI Platform is leading a major workstream within the TRAILS4SOIL Project – an ambitious forward-thinking EU initiative transforming European agriculture through regenerative, climate-smart systems. Through Living Labs – real-world environments where farmers, researchers, and the food and drinks industry co-design, test, and scale practical solutions to safeguard the future of our food supply.

We are looking for a Living Labs Strategy & Impact Lead to design the business model and create and implement the strategy and long-term sustainability plan for the Living Labs. Your leadership will ensure these become living, breathing ecosystems of innovation that drive adoption of regenerative practices across the agri-food value chain.

What You’ll Do

• Design and deliver the business model and sustainability pathways for the Living Labs
• Develop the strategic framework and governance model that ensures long-term impact beyond the five-year project
• Assess market potential and create the Adoption & Scale Playbook to embed regenerative practices commercially
• Act as a connector between farmers, innovators, and the food & beverage industry to translate sustainability insights into real-world impact
• Build partnerships, advocate for policy change, and communicate results across the wider agri-food ecosystem

What You’ll Bring

• BSc and MSc in Agriculture Economics or equivalent
• Substantial and relevant working experience in agriculture value chains
• Proven experience in strategy, impact measurement, and business model design within regenerative agriculture
• A strong understanding of the end-to-end agri-food value chain and the ability to mobilise diverse stakeholders is essential
• Expertise in sustainability reporting and benchmarking frameworks
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical insights into business value
• Experience with EU-funded or multi-stakeholder projects is an advantage
