SAI Platform is recruiting a Regenerative Agriculture Officer to support the delivery of the Regenerating Together Programme in the crops, dairy and beef communities.

This is an exciting junior position and a unique opportunity for a highly motivated individual to support SAI Platform’s Regenerating Together Programme at a crucial time. For this, we are looking for an early career professional with knowledge and experience in regenerative agriculture in the food sector, and a strong interest to support cross-sector collaborative industry partnerships. This position offers an opportunity to engage with diverse stakeholders, including leading food and drink companies, farmers, academic research, and NGOs.

Responsibilities

Support the team to deliver the Regenerating Together Programme (RTP). This will include, but is not limited to:

Administrative and Communications Support

• Coordinate and administer meetings with experts and the programme’s Steering Committee.
• Manage information requests from members and external stakeholders.
• Writenewsletter articles, annual reports, and other communications that contribute to programme visibility.

Framework Implementation

• Collect, compile, and analyse member and stakeholder feedback to support continuous improvements to the Regenerative Agriculture Framework and resources that support its implementation.

Member Transition Support

• Support the content development and delivery of member webinars as part of the RTP learning journey.
• Support design and implementation of the Regenerative Agriculture Resource Centre.
• Research, curate, and summarise key resources for the resource centre.
• Refine case studies, based on members’ and partners’ experience of implementing regenerative agriculture.
• Prepare for and facilitate key member events, both online and in-person.

Candidate requirements

• A bachelor/master’s degree in a subject related to Regenerative Agriculture (Agriculture, Sustainability, Natural Sciences, Environment or related).
• 1-2 years of experience working in agricultural supply chains.
• A strong interest in contributing to sustainable agriculture.
• Service-oriented attitude with good organisational and interpersonal skills.
• The interest and ability to work independently and pro-actively problem-solve.
• Native or near-native level English speaker with excellent verbal and written communication; additional languages are an asset.
• Self-motivated and able to work remotely with a virtual team.
