Call for submissions for the 2025 FSA Growing A Better Planet Award

Celebrating continuous improvement, innovation, and collaboration in advancing on-farm sustainability
SAI Platform is pleased to announce the launch of the 2025 Farm Sustainability Assessment (FSA) Growing A Better Planet Award.
The FSA is an internationally recognised and trusted industry solution for facilitating supply chain collaboration and enabling farm groups to assess, improve and communicate on sustainability performance across global agricultural supply chains. Now in its third year, the award recognises the farmers, farm groups, and organisations around the world that are leveraging the FSA to drive continuous improvement across social, environmental, and economic aspects of sustainability.
Last year’s award was presented to Simpsons Malt whose systemic approach to sustainability and close collaboration with farmers helped embed the FSA deeply into their supply chain. Their efforts demonstrated measurable impact, long-term commitment and the power of collaboration in delivering sustainability outcomes. More information on the winning entry can be found here.
For 2025, SAI Platform is once again calling for compelling examples that showcase how the FSA is being used as a catalyst for continuous improvement in sustainability and driving positive on-the-ground impact. The award aims to highlight scalable, practical initiatives that reflect the FSA’s core mission to advance the global transition to more sustainable and resilient agricultural practices.
To apply, FSA users are asked to submit a written case study sharing the objectives, progress made and impact of your initiative. Please refer to the guiding case study template which can be downloaded here when structuring your application. Responses should address the six core areas outlined in the template, which form the basis for evaluation by the judging panel. Submissions should be no more than 2 pages in length.
To bring your story to life, we strongly encourage the inclusion of visuals, such as photos, infographics, or other graphics, that highlight the initiative’s on-the-ground impact and engagement.
To enter your initiative for the 2025 FSA Growing A Better Planet award, please complete this application form before close of business on Friday 10th October 2025.
All submitted case studies will be carefully reviewed and evaluated by a panel of expert judges based on their demonstration of leadership, innovation, collaboration, and measurable impact in advancing on-farm sustainability. This year’s judging panel includes Carly Griggs (Coca-Cola), Matthew Jacob (Mane Kancor), and Brigid McAleer (Communications Director, SAI Platform). The panel will assess each submission against the six core areas outlined in the case study template, with a shortlist of outstanding entries shared across SAI Platform’s channels. The winner will be announced in November 2025.
