SAI Platform’s Dairy Working Group Gathers in New York Ahead of SDP 2.0 Launch
18th September 2025
With the launch of SDP 2.0 on the horizon, the Auburn meeting offers a timely opportunity to align around shared goals.

More than 50 representatives from 31 companies will gather in Auburn this October for a pivotal meeting of the SAI Platform’s Dairy Working Group (DWG), hosted by Cayuga Marketing and its partner farms.
For the first time, the meeting will take place on working dairy farms, offering participants a chance to see sustainability efforts in action and speak directly with farmers. The four-day programme, running from 6–9 October, includes farm visits and open discussions aimed at sharing practical insights and strengthening collaboration across the sector.
A key focus of the event will be the upcoming launch of SDP 2.0, the next version of the Sustainable Dairy Partnership. The tool is designed to streamline sustainability reporting across the dairy supply chain, helping companies track progress and meet growing expectations from customers and regulators.
Attendees will reflect on their experiences with the SDP so far, discuss how it’s shaping their business practices, and explore ways to encourage wider adoption. The gathering marks an important moment for the dairy industry as it moves toward more transparent and consistent sustainability standards.
With the launch of SDP 2.0 on the horizon, the Auburn meeting offers a timely opportunity to align around shared goals and to ensure that progress on paper translates into meaningful change on the ground.
