A new practical and easy-to-use tool for farm level water risk assessment

SAI Platform is pleased to launch a new easy-to-use tool for on-farm use by farm managers.
The Excel-based tool sets out, in plain language, the key components of knowledge required for reliable risk assessment, followed by the risk assessment itself. Its clear visual presentation of the results, also serves as a powerful communication tool for engagement between a farm and its supply chain customers.
SAI Platform is a global initiative helping food and drink companies to achieve sustainable agricultural practices in their supply chains. Existing sustainability reporting and assessment guidelines require water risk and stewardship to be addressed, but provide little guidance on the practical considerations and steps to apply.
