After twelve months of review and consultation, the Dairy Working Group has now released the latest version of the SAI Platform Principles & Practices (P&P) for Dairy Production, thereby updating the original 2009 version. This new version is totally aligned with the criteria of the globally recognized Dairy Sustainability Framework. The updating process showed that the sector as a whole has progressed on its sustainability journey. New knowledge and best practice will guide and support those who are implementing sustainable dairy farming practices regardless of their location. As a next step, all other working groups will do a full review of their respective P&Ps. This process will result in a fully updated set of P&Ps in 2016.
