Julia de Candido

Julia is involved in the development of SAI Platform’s Regenerating Together Programme.

Julia’s experience covers various aspects across the global agriculture sector, specifically focusing on food security, agricultural development, and regenerative agricultural practices. Prior to joining SAI Platform, she worked and conducted research with rural communities and smallholder farmers in Madagascar, South Africa, Tanzania, Kenya, Sri Lanka, and India.

Julia holds an M.Sc. in Environment and Development from the University of Copenhagen, Denmark, and a B.BA. in International Food and Agribusiness from HAS University of Applied Sciences, the Netherlands. She spent exchange semesters at the University of Saskatchewan, Canada and at the University of Helsinki, Finland.
