The ERBS is excited to be coming back together in person for a two day event in France, under the theme: Igniting positive impact together.

The European Roundtable for Beef Sustainability (ERBS) unites actors across the European value chain to deliver measurable and positive impact and continuous improvement on key sustainability priorities. The Roundtable aligns everyone in working towards measurable progress towards the same aligned targets, whilst recognising the diversity of production systems across Europe and providing freedom for delivering progress in a way that suits the local context.

The event is focused on recognising and reflecting the current and future challenges facing the beef sector, and how the ERBS can support our members in continuing to drive positive progress on key sustainability topics in the face of these challenges.

Day 1 kicks off the event with a field trip to see practical on-farm demonstrations of environment and animal welfare tools.

Day 2 is our member meeting and we’ll be hearing perspectives from external speakers, case studies from our members, the local context from our Platfoms (in France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Poland and UK), and a behind the scenes look at our very active working groups. External speakers include Richard Brown (Director of Gira), Thomas Duffy (Vice President of CEJA) and Ruaraidh Petre (Executive Director of GRSB).

This is a great opportunity for the Roundtable to take inspiration from lessons learnt through collaboration and mutual knowledge sharing, as well as to generate ideas that can help shape the future of the Roundtable.
