Online, interactive, FSA learning session comes to China

24th September 2020

SAI Platform continues to promote the use of the Farm Sustainability Assessment (FSA) in China. As a new concept in the Chinese market, the FSA is generating considerable interest as a practical tool that addresses an increasing awareness and focus on sustainable agriculture.

SAI Platform members and their suppliers who want to use the FSA are already receiving support and information from SAI Platform’s Beijing based consultant, Angela Hu.

In April this year, a successful online FSA training session was held with over 90 attendees.

The next event in China will take place online on Friday, 30th October. This knowledge sharing and learning session focuses on specific topics highlighted by participants in previous events including soil health, weed management, and increasing farm biodiversity. Attendees will also learn how the FSA can help companies to address the challenges they face in these key areas. The session will be interactive, showcasing examples of best practice as well as opportunities for participants to share knowledge and ask questions.

All members are welcome, and this session will be particularly useful for colleagues in local Chinese operations. Members are asked to highlight this event to Chinese colleagues and to encourage  participation along with the sharing of their experiences and challenges.
