Sveriges Stärkelseproducenter (SSF), förening u.p.a. is a Swedish starch company owned by some 500 potato growing producers. The company produces, develops and sells native potato starch, modified starches and potato fibers to the global food industry under the Lyckeby brand.
SSF operates and controls every link in the chain from the cultivation of seed potato and growing the starch potato to the highly specialized production of modern products for applications in the food and paper industries.
SSF’s sustainability strategy is organized in five focus areas: 1. Responsible employers and committed employees, 2. Responsible business partners, 3. Sustainable farming, 4. Production with optimised use of resources, 5. Development of sustainable product and packaging solutions. Each focus area is linked to one or more of the goals in the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
