Andriani SpA is a gluten-free food processor. Founded in 2004, they focus on rice, corn, quinoa, buckwheat, amaranth, lentils, chickpeas, and beans.
Sustainability Practice in Use
Andriani SpA are predominantly focussed on the sustainability of their raw materials. Initially starting with corn, Andriani SpA since 2016 have also included dry pulses. Currently attention is being directed towards:
- Farmer management skills
- Accessing pure varieties of crops
- Implementing more sustainable cropping practices
- Weed management
Why is SAI Platform Membership Important?
Andriani SpA want to learn more about sustainable practices and developing ways of implementation prior to expanding projects into their other product streams. By utilising SAI Platform’s network, collaborative structure and the tools available, they aim to improve existing projects in the coming years.
